Place 2 tablespoons of coarse ground coffee at bottom of the French press. Slowly pour in 16 ounces of hot (200 degrees F) water into the press and place the top on the unit. Let mixture brew for 4 minutes. Slowly and steadily press the plunger down, making sure to lower it straight down.

A French Press extracts more oils and sediment from the ground coffee than any other brewing method, which contributes to its robust flavor and creamy mouthfeel. Whether or not it becomes your preferred method of getting your coffee fix, consider these factors:

Pros

  • Easy to use and clean
  • Relatively inexpensive
  • Has a small footprint
  • Can be used to brew loose-leaf tea or cold brew

      Cons

      • Needs to be served immediately to prevent over-extraction.

Use the Pressopros French Press and enjoy your fresh and flavored coffee!
